Meet the Management Team at Nelvana
Managing Director, Nelvana Enterprises, Corus Entertainment
As Managing Director, Colin oversees Nelvana Enterprises and Kids Can Press, Corus’s internationally focused content assets. Colin is responsible for overseeing content distribution activities, including merchandise licensing, publishing, television, home video, and non-linear sales both in Canada and abroad. He also sources and negotiates new content partnerships for Nelvana Enterprises. Colin’s favourite Nelvana show is Beyblade; he and his two sons love to Let it Rip!
VP, Head of Nelvana Studio
Irene is a creative scout always on the lookout for great ideas or television series for production in the Nelvana studio or for partnership with studios internationally. Her passion stems from creating shows that allow kids to learn, feel, laugh and jump up and down with joy. She believes Nelvana’s story telling and characters expand kids’ thinking so they can live better, funnier, more interesting lives. Her favourite Nelvana show is Rolie Polie Olie, which set the stage for Nelvana’s CG shows like Babar and Backyardigans. She loves the simplicity of the series and also that Michael Cera was featured as Little Gizmo.
VP, Worldwide Sales and Distribution
Jerry’s love affair with television started many years ago, but surprisingly, not as a TV personality. Now, as VP of Worldwide Sales and Distribution for Nelvana, he oversees Nelvana’s sales division and sells directly into Canada, U.S., UK, Spain, Portugal and South America. Recently, Jerry relocated from Miami Beach to Toronto with his wife Jennifer, daughter Aurora and their seven-toed cat Hemingway. While the weather was a tough adjustment, he’s loving his new home.

Director, Creative Services
Andrew has always been all about the arts, whether it be music, graphics or animation. At Nelvana, his passion is rooted in working with an amazing team of talented designers who collaborate to create great product. Some of his favourite shows include Babar and The Adventures of Badou for the richness and great sense of exploration and adventure and Franklin and Friends for the relatable situations and lessons learned in each episode. Despite having worked and traveled the world in the fields of print and graphic design, Andrew thinks fondly back to his first job ever playing Chuck E. Cheese himself!
