Billy Blazes, leader of the Rescue Heroes team, directs the team and clears the way for rescue efforts. With his powerful ax, he chops through thick walls, big doors, and other obstructions to save people trapped in burning buildings.

WENDY WATERS
Firefighter
When the fire is burning out of control, this feisty firefighter brings in her powerful, portable "water" cannon to beat back the flames. However, even more powerful then the blast of H2O blasting from her hose is this young women's unwavering will to succeed.

JAKE JUSTICE
Police Officer
Jake is the only member of RESCUE HEROES to come with his own set of wheels. That's because he's a former MOTORCYCLE COP who has been assigned to the RESCUE HEROES with a passion to uphold justice as part of the rescue effort.

ARIEL FLYER
Pilot and Veterinarian
Ariel is a real NATURAL WHIZ WHEN IT COMES TO FLYING and is also able to get an aircraft into and out of a dangerous situation with the greatest of skill. It's normal for her to use her ace piloting skills, get an aircraft into a danger zone to rescue wounded victims and then get them out just in the nick of time. This combination of skills is uniquely invaluable.

ROCKY CANYON
Mountain Ranger
Rocky is the youngest and newest member to the Rescue Heroes. Rocky is a born mountain climber. Even at his young age, he became world renowned for having climbed and conquered some of the world's tallest and most difficult mountain ranges. It's for that reason that he was asked to join the RESCUE HEROES.

JACK HAMMER
Construction Worker
No situation is too "heavy" for this former heavyweight lifter to handle. Jack is a laconic, laid back Texan with a thick drawl, a lazy way of talking and a propensity for practical jokes. But when he's summoned by the RESCUE HEROES, he's all action.

WARREN WATERS
Command Leader
Warren may be dad to Wendy but to thousands of others he is the Commander of Operations based in the "HEXAGON," the RESCUE HEROES COMMAND COM SPACE STATION orbiting the Earth. Warren is one of the founding members of RESCUE HEROES and everyone in the organization respects him. A strict but caring father figure to most, it is Warren's quick reaction to global disasters that most often gets the team into action.

ROGER HOUSTON
Co-command Leader
This former hot-shot shuttle pilot is now the Director of Space Operations. He is second in command to WARREN WATERS. Roger is a by-the-book, no-nonsense ex-air force test pilot who always tries to follow the strictest of protocol about everything. Still, when not directing traffic from space, he's a friendly fellow who has no problem cracking up, even if it's at himself.

CLIFF HANGAR
Air Rescue Specialist
Cliff is one of the best aircraft pilots in the country. Descended from a long line of stunt-flying pilots, Cliff learned how to do daring stunts at an early age. Cliff may seem quirky and even loopy in real life but if a rescue has anything to do with air or the sky, Cliff is your man.

GIL GRIPPER
Scuba Diver
This MARINE BIOLOGIST is more at home under water than above ground. It sometimes seems as if he were born with scuba gear already attached to his body! Gil is the strong but silent type, unless he's underwater in his element and then he opens right up.

Rip Rockefeller
Construction Worker
Rip Rockefeller is the team's talented construction worker. With his giant front loader, Rip cuts through whatever stands between the rescue teams and trapped accident or disaster victims. Underneath that giant front loader though is a heart of gold and a very sarcastic sense of humor. After all, the way he figures, there's no need to spout off a bunch of technical longitude and latitude points when simply pointing with your finger will head you in the same direction.

Bill Barker & Buster
Canine Police
Bill Barker & Buster, his faithful canine companion, track down campers and other people who get lost or trapped in the mountains or the woods. Buster's got a special siren on his back to signal the team that rescue's on the way. Bill comes across with the toughness of a spaghetti western cowboy but underneath all of that he has the toughness of just your normal western cowboy.

Sam Sparks
Firefighter
Each member of this elite team has a special job to do when battling a raging blaze. With his extendable fire-hose backpack, Sam Sparks job is to get to the fires other firefighters just can't reach. Sam has an artistic bent and we sometimes get the feeling that while he's putting out fires with his hose, he's painting pictures in his mind.

Bob Buoy
Coast Guard
The Extreme Rescue Heroes team goes to the ends of the earth, air, and sea to rescue anyone in distress. He's a former sailor who's not afraid to let you know it, so don't make him mad!

Willy Stop
Police Officer
Whenever there's trouble or danger on the road, this ace member of the team is the powerhouse who stops the bad guys right in their tracks. This well-respected Police Officer has a gruff manner about him that can be intimidating. It's said that underneath he's a sweetie but no one has ever gotten close enough to find out.

Sandy Beach
Lifeguard
Surf's up! Sandy Beach scouts the sea with his motorized surfboard to aid drowning swimmers, capsized fishing boats, and surfers crashed in a wave. He tosses his tethered buoy out to floundering swimmers and pulls them to safety. If you're caught in a undertow, this life saving dude is the exact guy you want to be on patrol.

Sergeant Siren
Police Officer
When battling a raging blaze, Sergeant Siren's job is warning people in danger to get away from the fast-moving fire. Using his sonic siren and his bullhorn with spinning fan action, Sergeant Siren saves lives and lays down the law. Sometimes others wonder why he even uses his bullhorn, because in life he's just a tad loud and charmingly overbearing.

Matt Medic
Physician
Matt Medic is the skilled Highway Heroes physician, ready to go to work with some important equipment. His rescue pliers pull trapped victims from accidents while his pack unfolds into a stretcher and delivers them to safety. Matt's soft-spoken almost nebbish manner puts victims at ease as he swiftly repairs that which ails them.

HAL E. COPTER
Flying Firefighter
This jovial, cherubic, flying firefighter can quickly douse forest fires or spin up to the top of tall buildings to fight flames and save trapped victims. He turns his swiveling "water hoses" on the fire, puts it out, and then flies off to his next mission. To our good-natured pal, the forest is never half on fire, it's already half out!

AIDEN ASSIST
Paramedic
Being in a wheelchair has never once stopped Aiden Assist from assisting in a rescue and patching up a victim. Aiden can get to anyone trapped in a car wreck and have them out and be administering first aid before most paramedics could even make it to the scene.

COMET
Space Monkey
Comet the Space Monkey was brought into the program to "send out" signal satellites from his lunar vehicle to locate space explorers in distress. If you ask Roger Houston, he was brought into the program to make his life miserable with all that monkey hi-jinx.

NEMO
Rescue Dolphin
Nemo the Rescue Dolphin speeds to the scene of tidal waves, hurricanes, shipwrecks, all kinds of high-seas disasters. Then he saves people by letting them hitch a ride on his back using the handle grip. If danger's afloat, count on Nemo to pop up just in time! If there's fun to be had, you can also count on Nemo to pop up just in time!

SMOKEY
Firedog
With a ladder that goes up, down and all around, Smokey the Firedog dashes to burning houses to bring stranded folks out safe and sound. However, despite his heroic actions during the day, Smokey still wants to be a lapdog at night, and it's Rocky's lap where you'll find him at the end of most days -- much to the chagrin of an allergic Billy.

CLAUDE
Mountain Lion
High in the rocky and snow-capped mountains, Claude the Mountain Lion prowls the peaks in search of anyone in danger. He leaps over rocks and through canyons to rescue victims of avalanches, landslides, and falls. Claude's backpack contains a big rescue hook, which can be launched to assist accident and disaster victims.

ST. BERNARD
Wind Chill
What's brown and white and safe all over? Animal Rescue Hero Wind Chill, of course. This four-legged Wilderness Patrol team member is equipped with a nose that can detect anyone buried underneath the deepest avalanche, and a stretcher on his back so he can transport them to safety. Faithful companion to Al Pine, there is no activity that can keep Wind Chill apart from him -- even if it's something as asinine as ice fishing.

MAUREEN BIOLOGIST:
Maureen Biologist is a dedicated scientist and ecologist whose caring treatment of the underwater biosphere has found her a place in the Rescue Heroes. Maureen grew up aboard a trolling boat, and learned to swim before she could walk. At an early age, she saw first-hand the kind of damage over-fishing wreaked on the ecosystem. She decided to give up the life of a fisherwoman to become a champion for undersea wildlife around the world. Maureen focused on averting eco-disasters, like oil-spills and waste runoff.

BRANDON IRONS:
Brandon Irons is so much the old-fashioned cowboy, that he sleeps with his boots on. "Just in case of a stampede, pard…" Easy-going and cool during the even the most radical crisis, Brandon knows two things: "A cowboy can tame any animal, and it's every cowboy's duty to not take advantage of that gift" Although he's as old-fashioned as a spittoon, Brandon is modern in his approach to conservation and protection of wild animals. Underneath that calm veneer, and behind that easy smile, is a cowpoke serious about the environment.

ROCK MINER with RADAR
When Rock Miner didn't turn up for dinner as a child, everyone in his small Arizona town made their way to the vast cave systems that lay in the hills. With flashlights and lanterns, the townspeople would usually find Rock staring at a section of stalagmites with a rapt look on his face…and that was when he was just six!! Rock went on to graduate high school at 10, University at 16…His restless mind kept him busy with subjects varied and vast: archaeology, botany, kung-fu, herpetology, sabremetrics, even Persian rug making!! But Rock was drawn back again and again to the caves of his youth. Soon, he had memorized cave systems from Alaska to Antwerp, traveling the world in search of the perfect cave. It was on one of these quests that his expertise was called to action, as Rock was able to save a lost child, hopelessly disoriented in a deep fissure. His rescue mission brought the Rescue Heroes to his door, and now his globetrotting adventures can bring him that much closer to finding his perfect cave!

CAPTAIN CUFFS:
As a drill sargeant in the U.S. Marine Corps, Cuffs' favourite activity was the forced 26-mile run. To spice up the festivities, then sergeant Cuff loaded his troops' packs with fifty-pound bundles of jagged, pointy rocks. "Kept the parameters of the mission in focus!" Whatever parameters those might be, Cuffs's troops became the best-trained marines on the base. Cuffs was soon promoted, and rose up the chain of command. It wasn't until Captain Cuffs witnessed a horrible fire that ravaged his neighbourhood that he gave up his stripes and joined up on a community level, as a local police officer. Cuffs was able to apprehend the arsonist that torched his neighbourhood. All this made the rescue Heroes stand at attention!

PERRY SHUTE:
Born In the lush highlands of Scotland, Perry use to watch with wistful longing as British Paratroopers would practice their maneuvers near his parent's farm. Perry soon developed a syndrome that was the complete opposite of acrophobia: the fear of heights. Perry climbed everything that was over twenty feet tall. Mountains, hills, telephone poles… When friends were tossing cabers at the local highland games, Perry was climbing them! But soon enough Perry became more interested in finding ways of getting off of the high precipices that he had scaled, than actually climbing them! Enlisting in the same paratrooper squad he observed as a child, Perry became the wildest parachutist the troopers had ever seen. Taking any opportunity to jump out of airplanes, Perry broke records for the lowest altitude openings on British record. All this has made Perry just a little cocky… As fiery as his mop of red hair, Perry likes to instigate dares, challenges and contests, and usually wins! Much to the dismay of his fellow rescue heroes, who have to listen to his boasts for weeks afterwards…

BEN CHOPPIN:
Ben Choppin came from a long line of lumberjacks who respected the forests that they cut and shaped. Like his father and his father before him, Ben learned how to tap the forest for its precious resources, while preserving the delicate balance of nature at the same time. Ben's Dad taught him how to read the leaves to tell the weather, how to gauge the ground to determine what kind of harvest it would yield, and how to cut the trees and still keep the land fertile and developing. Ben's Dad also taught him an entire catalogue's worth of knowledge on the medicinal values of the roots and berries found among the trees. The most important lesson that Ben's father taught him was to replace one sapling for every tree taken out of the forest, a lesson that Ben has never forgotten. He has gone on to pledge his life to preserving ecosystems around the world. Ben is a serious minded fellow who is saddened by the state of forests in the world today. Living in a log cabin deep in the forest, Ben shies away from largely populated areas to live among the trees. Ben is a serious and focused individual, but his fellow Heroes seem to accept his serious demeanor. As Jack Hammer puts it: "He's just thinkin' about all the trees he could be savin' right now…"

AL PINE:
Folks who have known Al Pine for a long time say that he could ski a double diamond course before he learned to walk, and jump from a helicopter on to the fresh powder of an unmarked peak before he could tie his shoes… Al Pine spends the majority of his winters zooming down hills from Colorado to Quebec. But fun turned quickly to duty, when Al spotted and rescued a family trapped by an avalanche on a local ski hill. From that moment on, Al decided to use his gnarly snowboard powers for good! The Rescue Heroes were overjoyed to have him aboard. Al is easy-going and laid-back, with a ready-for-anything attitude. But when he hits the slope he's all business, speeding to the task at hand, that is…unless he's pulling a three-sixty, dude!

SEYMOUR WILD:
Born and raised in the unforgiving outback of Australia, Seymour Wild thrives in untamed lands. He can whip together a breakfast of grubs, berries and eucalyptus and can build a shelter in the trees in five minutes flat. "Not a drop of rain'll get on ya, mate!" Seymour feels a little uncomfortable in enclosed spaces. On those days that he finds himself at the Rescue Heroes' HQ, Seymour pitches a pup tent outside the main facility. Seymour has pledged to protect the outback wildlife from the ever-present threat of poachers. His experiences have given him a vast knowledge of animal and plant life that has aided the Rescue Heroes in their fight to save the animals of the world. He, so he claims, is the only human ever accepted into the kangaroo community. Seymour is a happy, smiling gent who loves all animals despite their size or breed.

KENNY RIDE:
Kenny was a beat cop in Detroit when a robber ran out of a bank just several feet away from him. Kenny tried to catch him, but kept getting boxed in by pedestrians on the busy sidewalks. Commandeering a local teen's bike, Kenny discovered two things that day: Firstly, a bike-cop can maneuver around the streets better than one on foot, and secondly, Man! Was he a good biker! Since that day, Kenny and his bike are rarely apart. In a constant struggle to be the best bike cop around, Kenny has easily proven that he can pedal anywhere that the average guy can walk. Kenny's world revolves around safety; his ongoing mission is to make the streets safe for kids and adults alike. Kenny is an African- American with an easy grin that never leaves his face. "He never gets angry," says Jake Justice. "I've seen people yell at him and tear up traffic tickets in his face and all he does is smile and say 'have a nice day' Oh! He also tells them that there tires a running a little low!"
