Ten-year-old Vida cares about a lot of things. But most of all, Vida cares about animals. For as long as she can remember, Vida has dreamt of being a veterinarian. Vida lives at the edge of Sweetwood, a forest only accessible through a tiny door found in the shrubs at the far end of her backyard. When she and her pet hamster, Popcorn make their way through the door, they discover that Sweetwood is home to an eclectic group of endearing animals – where she is Vida the Vet!
